What is a Board Room?

A board room is a space in which a group of people hold gatherings, usually ones that are voted by shareholders to run a company. It can also refer to a room in which members meet to make important decisions for the business such as choosing an interim CEO or opening a branch office. A boardroom could also be a reference to a virtual conference area, where groups meet online. Virtual meetings can provide many benefits including improved governance, increased attendance, reduced travel expenses, and increased board diversity.

The term”boardroom” could also be used to describe a sports media network founded by NBA superstar Kevin Durant. The network, which is dubbed the Boardroom is a conversations about culture and sports with athletes and celebrities. The network is in partnership with NBCSN, and features the original show The Boardroom With Durant and Rich Kleiman.
